After our delay, we were able to rebook our flight in Frankfurt, Germany quite smoothly to Warsaw, but after claiming our baggage we had the interesting time of figuring out where our driver was. Taxi drivers, who spoke limited English were trying to gain our business and we were trying to use a pay phone to contact our travel agent. We waited another hour and half for a driver to pick us up. We made is safely! Our hostel is very nice and we were able to basically eat, Skype our families, and get some much needed rest. |

We arrived to our hostel about 5 hours after we expected because of extreme delays in Chicago. We were supposed to fly out of Chicago orginally at 6:55pm, but due to airport condition delays, maintenance work on the air conditioning (which we greatly appreciate...it was very hot on the plane for the first hour or so), and finally a thunder and lightning storm, we flew out at 10:30pm! Thankfully, both of us are pretty laid back, some people were getting a bit irritated, but what can you do? After dinner at 11pm, we both attemped to sleep. |

It is 6:30 am right now and we would have blogged yesterday, but I blew fuse and was nervous to use the computer. Let's just say there were sparks, and then suddenly no electricity in our wing. I like to start things with a bang! |

We have been receiving many wonderful emails from family, friends, and staff with wishes of safe travel and words of encouragement. It is heartwarming to read, and we are very grateful to have such support. |
