Upcoming District Events

  • Sports Update
    FALL ATHLETES! A reminder that you must have your physical and all of your paperwork signed, especially the Athletic Participation Form, before the first day of practice. If you did not get the packet from your coach, click on the link on the left side of the website homepage to print out your packet to read and sign. If you have questions, ask your coach or call the school office.
    Sports Apparel Stores: 
    Get your AB sports apparel for the fall season. The apparel stores are open until August 7 at noon.
    Volleyball Update:
    Player and Parent Meeting
    We will be hosting a mandatory player and parent meeting on Tuesday, August 9th from 6:15-7pm. I have packets for each of you that need to be completed before the first day of tryouts. If I do not have your packets, you can't participate until they are turned in. We will be covering team expectations, rules, and briefly cover the information in your packets. If you are not able to make it to the meeting, please let me know right away. If anyone cannot make it, I will send a follow up email with the information we covered in the meeting. 
    Upcoming Open Gyms
    We will be having two open gyms to finish up the summer. Tuesday, August 2nd, and Tuesday, August 9th from 4-6pm. Contact days are not mandatory, but they are highly recommended. It will give the girls some extra practice time before our tryouts. 
    High School Volleyball Team Placement Tryouts begin Monday, August 15th, 6:00-7:15am AND 3:30-4:50pm in the West Gym.
    Two-a-day team placement tryouts will be August 15th-17th 6:00-7:15am and 3:30-4:50pm. Regular practices will begin on the 18th and run Monday-Friday 3:30-5:50pm unless games are scheduled. Please watch your emails, our Facebook page, or the Team Group Text for updates and additional information. If you are not on the Facebook page, please email Coach P ([email protected]) to be added to the group. 
    Please make sure all paperwork, especially physical or alternate year cards, are turned in on the first night of tryouts or before, to make sure you are able to participate. No physical or alternate year card, no playing. If you are not sure if your athlete needs a physical, shoot me an email, and I'll let you know. 
    High School Football Update:
    Who's ready for some football?? Reminder, the first day of practice is Tuesday, August 9th. Meet @ 5pm in the auditorium.

    Middle School Volleyball Update:
    MIDDLE SCHOOL students interested in playing volleyball this year! First practice is August 22nd from 3:30-5:30 p.m. There will be no practice Wednesday, Aug. 24 due to the open house. Volleyball is open to all 6th thru 8th graders. Please make sure to have your physical or alternate card filled out prior to practice. If you don't know if you need one email: [email protected]

    FeedbackSafe Return to In-Person Learning and Continuity of Services Plan:
    As a requirement to receive ESSER III (Covid Relief Funds), districts must post a Board approved copy of their Safe Return to In-Person Learning and Continuity of Services Plan online. This plan has been developed throughout the course of the pandemic with feedback from stakeholders. The AB School Board approved this plan on January 12. If you would like to provide additional feedback to the school district, please fill out the Google Form available with the plan.
