• 4K Announcement for 2020-2021

We are pleased to announce the Almond-Bancroft School District Board of Education approved a change in programming for our 4K starting in the fall of 2020.  The 4K program will meet 4 days each week for ½ day, either in the morning or in the afternoon.  Students may stay at school all day, Mondays through Thursdays, by being enrolled in our 4K program and Extended Learning Center housed right here in school next door to our 4K classroom.  Busing will be provided in the mornings and afternoons as it is for all our other students, and our 4K students will follow the regular district calendar.  Students enrolled in 4K and the Extended Learning Center will be able to participate in our breakfast and lunch program as is provided to all our other students as well.

There will be no 4K or Extended Learning Center programming on Fridays.

    Parent options for programming include:

    1. All day, Mondays through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m. - Students will attend 4K ½ of the day and the Extended Learning Center the other ½ of the day.

    1. Half-day, Mondays through Thursdays, either a.m. or p.m. Parents will be responsible for mid-day transportation.

Parents may request a.m. or p.m. 4K, and we will try to accommodate requests; but we do need to keep the a.m. session and the p.m. session equal in number.

We are very excited about this change and thank our Board members for their commitment to improving our instructional program with this decision.  Information will be updated as details are confirmed.
