• Summer 2016 - Almond Boys & Girls Club

    The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County will be offering a program Monday-Thursday June 13th through August 11th from 12:30-5:30 PM for students entering Grades 1 - 8 . They will be closed during the week of July 4th (7/04 - 7/08) . A variety of activities are planned for the summer. The program will take place at the Almond School in the Boys & Girls Club room.

    NEW THIS YEAR!  The Boys and Girls Club will also be open during the two weeks after session two of summer school.  They will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, August 1 -August 11th.  During these two weeks, bussing will be provided.  Pick up and Drop off will  also be at the Bancroft Lions Park at 7:45 AM and 4:15 PM.

  • Almond Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County

    The Almond Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County is available for  1st through 12th graders each Monday through Thursday from 3:15pm-7:00pm, AND Friday from 3:15pm-6:00pm , when school is in session.

    A Homework and Tutoring Center is now open for ALL students in Grades 1 - 12!
    Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the IMC.
    A Snack is Provided!

    FREE Transportation to Pine Grove Villa and the Bancroft School
    is now being provided!     
    A bus leaves the Almond School at 6:30pm Monday through Thursday,
    and 5:30pm on Friday.

    BGC is based out of rooms S318 and S320 in the Almond School building
    (Northeast Corner of the building across from the East Computer Lab), with a Teen Center in room S325 (up the ramp before the Weight Room).
