    ALMOND-BANCROFT SCHOOL DISTRICT REFERENDUM 2018
    TUESDAY, APRIL 3

What is the District asking approval for?
Authorization to exceed the state revenue limits on a recurring basis by $525,000 beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.

Why is the School District asking for approval?
    • To update our curriculum (what we teach our kids) and our instructional practices (how we teach our kids).
    • To continue our technology improvements and growth.
    • To recruit and retain high quality teachers.
    • To do facility maintenance and upkeep.

    What is the financial impact?
With the retirement of our annual $451,000 building debt and the expiration of our $75,000 technology referendum this year, passage of a recurring $525,000 operational referendum will result in no increase to the school tax rate.

The school tax rate will not go up.
